Welcome!
I'm Xavier, a first-year PhD student in the string theory and quantum field theory groups at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich, Germany.
In a nutshell:
- This is my professional webpage. You'll find a description of my current and recent academic activities, as well as various resources I've found to be worth looking at in my journey so far.
- I previously earned a MSc in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at LMU and TUM in Munich (TMP program), a MASt in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, as well as a BSc in Physics from EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. Have a look at my CV for more details.
- My current research interests span string theory, holography, scattering amplitudes and positive geometry, including (but not limited to) non-relativistic and tensionless strings. See my Inspire page for a list of my publications & preprints related to theoretical physics.
- Besides science, I also have a keen interest for poetry, foreign languages and cultures, photography, endurance sports, philosophy and sustainable travel. I share some of these here.
