Welcome!

I'm Xavier, working towards a PhD in theoretical physics in the string theory and quantum field theory groups at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich, Germany.

In a nutshell:

• This is my professional webpage. You'll find a description of my current and recent academic activities, as well as various resources I've found to be worth looking at in my journey so far.
• I previously earned a MSc in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at LMU and TUM in Munich (TMP program), a MASt in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, as well as a BSc in Physics from EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. Have a look at my CV for a summary.
• My most recent work combines insights from string theory and scattering amplitudes to explore holographic dualities in flat and curved spacetimes. See my dedicated research page for details!
• Besides science, I also have a keen interest for poetry, foreign languages and cultures, photography, endurance sports, philosophy and sustainable travel. I share some of these here.
